The Jessica Vaughn Reelection Campaign

Overview

The task was to design a website for political candidate Jessica Vaughn. She was running for the third district seat on the Hillsborough County School Board. The candidate outlined the following things that she wanted the website to convey:

  • Showcase who she is as a working mother
  • Display her efforts to connect with the community
  • Provide a space for donors
  • List the organizations that have endorsed her
  • Delineate important voting dates
  • Encourage people to register to vote
  • Define her ideas for the school district

Project Objectives

To create a website that allowed the candidate to connect with voters. An emphasis was placed on how the candidate connects with people in the community. Also, a page was created to accept donations, along with a map indicating district areas.
